Welcome to Iconic African Awards, formerly known as Iconic Black Women Award—a distinguished annual program founded by Nigerian-Canadian Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Lola Alao. Established in 2020 by the Lola Alao Foundation, the Iconic African Awards (I.A.A.) celebrates excellence in the African-Canadian entertainment industry. Our prestigious ceremony honors outstanding achievements across various creative fields, showcasing performances by both established and emerging talents. Broadcasted live on international platforms, we unite viewers worldwide in celebrating the richness and diversity of African creativity.
